August 23, 2019 – 4th Grade Teacher’s Notes
We have been working hard this week to listen to directions and to follow them without needing multiple reminders. I have seen improvement and know we will keep getting better!
You will have noticed that homework is starting to come home. A lot of what we have done in the last week has been group work or we have corrected it together as we get used to what the expectations are for homework.
Next week, I will begin entering grades on TADS as our homework becomes more independent. Remember, students’ homework, whether complete or incomplete, will be in their yellow Homework folder in their binder every night.
Take Home Folder
Please check your child’s orange Take Home Folder in their binder. Any papers in here can be emptied out and left at home. They may have papers in here through the week, but it’s especially good to empty it every weekend for the next week.
Each student has chosen the book they will do for their book report. Remember, they have ALL quarter (until October 9th) to read this. They do not need to begin right now if they are in the middle of another book. Also, these will already fit with their AR goals as the books they have chosen are AR books.
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32
