August 29, 2019 – 5th Grade Teacher’s Notes
Clubs are in full swing! Be sure your student knows what day to stay for clubs. It sounds like everything if off to a great start.
Thursdays are LIBRARY day! Be sure to have your student bring his/her library book to return or re-check each week.
We had another great week in 5th grade! Thanks for sharing your student with us at Our Redeemer.
No school Monday! Enjoy the extended weekend with your family.
Our next memory test will be Thursday, September 12. The scripture verse is as follows:
And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may go well with you. Deuteronomy 6:18a
Reflection: When is it hard to do the right thing? How does God provide when it is hard to do the right thing?
We will have our first English test on Thursday of next week. The test will cover pgs. 2-26 in the Lanugage book. We will also be revewing in class.
As we prepare to start our new novel, we will do a mini unit covering figurative language.
We will be observing the melting/freezing points of different liquids WEDNESDAY in Science class. Your student is invited to bring a liquid to freeze. We need about a half a cup of the liquid.
