February 14, 2020 – 1-Year-Olds Teacher’s Notes
I pray all is well and you all are warm and dry. As you know, the flu and strep are heavy among us, so of course, you won’t send them if they are truly sick. But many of our classmates have infant siblings. So if even if your child just has a runny nose or a ugly cough, or just does not feel up to it AND it is an option, please consider keeping them home. They may need a break too.
With that, we have all had a great and fun week. Here’s what we have learned:
- 1 John 4:8 God is Love
- Shape for the week was a Heart
- The color for the week was Red
- Letter for the week was “L”
- Our song for the week was “Jesus Made Me”
We had our party Thursday and it was a HIT! Thank you to all who helped and attended. Those that couldn’t be here were all missed so much. You have a gift in your cubbies from Meseret and me.
- Next week we will learn about Moses.
- Our Letter will be “M”
- Our color for the week will be Blue
- Baby Moses is our story and Moses is our song!
- Our shape for the week will be square
In His Service,
I hope everyone enjoyed their week and had an amazing time at the Valentine’s Day party! It is always so much fun to see everyone enjoying their time together as a class.
This week was so much fun making our Valentine’s Day Art with our stencils and practicing our dexterity with both of their hands.
This coming week, we will continue focusing on our Sea Animals theme, and our song of the week will be “Sea Gull Song.” Our weekly focus board will be reviewing the numbers 1-20 and we’ll also be working on the letter “V.” Our Bible Story of the week will be “Jesus Miracles” as we are approaching the Lenten season.
May everyone have a blessed weekend–Mrs. Sands and I can’t wait to see you next week!
