November 22, 2019 – 5th Grade Teacher’s Notes

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.  As the season of thankfulness approaches, I just wanted to let you all know how thankful I am for you, your children, and your family.  You have been such a wonderful blessing to me and I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed teaching your students so far this year. Thank you for sharing them with us at Our Redeemer!  Enjoy your week with family!

When we return, we will begin a new Wildcat Will:  Serve. We will look at the many ways Jesus served in the Bible and also take a look at God’s call for us to serve others.

This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria.  And all went to be registered, each to his own town. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,  to be registered with Mary, his betrothed who was with child. Reflection:  What is your favorite Christmas tradition with your family?

English: This week in English we will begin Unit 4: Modifiers.  We will focus on the use of Adjectives and Adverbs. This is a fun unit as it will help us in our writing as we create more descriptive sentences.
