You might have noticed that our campus is occasionally blessed with some feathered visitors. Canadian geese love to visit our soccer field and land during certain times of the year. The visits are sporadic, and the flock count ranges from 2 to 27 depending on the day. A new fun proclamation has been set forth at Our Redeemer. By the power invested in me as Head of School…If the geese land by 8am, the grade school students will receive five extra minutes of recess that day!
Our “Wildcat Will” for October is Courage. A great example of courage is our very own Gloria in 4th grade. On Wednesday, October 9, we all gathered around her and prayed for a successful surgery and blessed healing. Her amputation was successful and we are so excited for her new future. Gloria is most excited about the soccer games in her future when her prosthetic is ready. We will continue to pray for our courageous Wildcat and anticipate her return to campus.
Thank you for taking the time to meet with your child’s teacher tomorrow. Your partnership with the teacher is so important in helping your child. Have a great weekend.
In God’s Grace,
