Studies show that when parents are involved in their child’s school that their children flourish vastly beyond those whose parents are not involved. The combination of parent and teacher involvement is key to a successful educational environment.
The Parent/Teacher League (PTL) at Our Redeemer was formed to facilitate this relationship. The PTL’s fellowship, fundraising and hands-on participation has made Our Redeemer a true reflection of the great things that can be accomplished when parents and teachers come together.
Many of the PTL-sponsored activities, such as Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, Breakfast with a Buddy, have become ORLS favorites. Their annual sponsorship of the PTL Luncheon in which they honor the faculty and staff of ORLS is a school-wide tradition.
The PTL would be unable to operate without the time and talents of parent volunteers. We are in constant need of all talents and any time parents are able to provide. So if you fancy yourself a baker, photographer, painter, writer, decorator, salesperson, chef, party planner or just a parent that would like to pitch in, we want you!!
