In addition to our computer instruction classes and the integration of technology into homeroom instruction, Our Redeemer offers several methods through which students can advance their interests and academic skill. They are:

Keyboarding Kids Club
This club introduces children to STEM skills to solve problems, teaching keyboarding and technology skills, and provides strong academic enrichment that includes literacy, skills, listening comprehension, teamwork, concentration, and confidence (PK3 students through 2nd grade students).

Little Coders Club
This club is the start of the coding pathway! This club provides young students with the basics of computational thinking, such as coordinates, loops, and conditionals, through a fun blend of “unplugged” and online activities. Little Coders is designed specifically for early readers’ attention spans and cognitive abilities (Kindergarten through 2nd grade students).

Elementary Coding Club
Students are introduced to the core concepts of computer programming, including variables, functions, and conditionals. Using the Scratch learning environments, students learn how to create programs, such as simple games, animations and interactive stories (2nd through 6th grade students).

3-D Printing
Students who master the core curriculum will do additional projects with our school’s 3-D-Printer. This opportunity is included with-in our technology class during our normal school hours (2nd through 6th grade students).
