Studies show that when parents are involved in their child’s school that their children flourish vastly beyond those whose parents are not involved. The combination of parent and teacher involvement is key to a successful educational environment.
The Wildcat Parent Leaders (WPL) at Our Redeemer was formed to facilitate this relationship. The WPL’s fellowship, fundraising and hands-on participation has made Our Redeemer a true reflection of the great things that can be accomplished when parents and teachers come together.
Many of the WPL-sponsored activities, such as Donuts with Darlings, Breakfast with a Buddy, have become Our Redeemer favorites. Their annual sponsorship of the WPL Luncheon in which they honor the faculty and staff of Our Redeemer is a school-wide tradition.
The WPL would be unable to operate without the time and talents of parent volunteers. We are in constant need of all talents and any time parents are able to provide. So if you fancy yourself a baker, photographer, painter, writer, decorator, salesperson, chef, party planner or just a parent that would like to pitch in, we want you!!
