Cherami Rocha
KinderBridge Teacher
I’ve been part of the Our Redeemer community for five years, but my passion for teaching began long before that. From a young age, I felt called to the classroom, inspired by a few incredible teachers who showed me how powerful kindness and care can be. With a B.A. in English from SMU and training through both the Simmons School of Education and the Texas Teachers program, I’ve spent over 20 years creating joyful, nurturing spaces where young children can thrive.
I believe a child’s early school experiences shape their academic, emotional, and spiritual foundation, and I’m passionate about making those first years positive and uplifting. My teaching is rooted in Matthew 22:39: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Each day, I strive to love and serve my students with compassion and grace. When I’m not in the classroom, I treasure time with my husband and our two children. We love traveling, cooking together, and spending sunny days at the beach. At heart, I’m all about connection—and I aim to reflect the love of Jesus in all that I do.
