Chris Thomson
Librarian
I bring more than 30 years of experience as a children’s librarian in the public library system, dedicating my career to inspiring a lifelong love of reading and learning in young minds. At Our Redeemer, I treasure the camaraderie of my fellow teachers and find daily inspiration in the school’s beautiful garden. Outside of work, I enjoy painting and photography, creative outlets that reflect my eye for detail and appreciation of beauty. Growing up in a Navy family, I traveled overseas to the Far East, where my glasses—worn since childhood—often led locals to believe I was especially smart, sometimes earning me small gifts from strangers. My faith is anchored in my favorite Bible verse, Psalm 23:1: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
