I’m Monica Zapletal, and I’m so excited to be part of the Our Redeemer community! I have over 11 years of experience working in early childhood education. Though my degree is actually in accounting, my daughter’s preschool experience—and the incredible teachers she had— truly inspired me to pursue early childhood education. I love watching little ones grow, play, and learn together, and I’m guided by Psalm 127:3, “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.”  Outside the classroom, I enjoy playing volleyball and pickleball and taking walks along the lake. I’m 100% Czech, and visiting Prague is definitely on my bucket list. This year, I hope to become more involved with the Our Redeemer Lutheran School and get to know more of our amazing staff. I’m looking forward to a fabulous school year with my 1s and their families!
