Nancy Navarro

Spanish & STEM Teacher

I have been proud to be part of the Our Redeemer community for nine years. I hold a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Literature and have completed 32 hours of professional development in SmartLab, which has enriched my teaching and allowed me to bring innovative learning experiences to my students. I was inspired to become a teacher by the many educators in my life who went above and beyond to shape who I am today, and I strive to do the same for my students. I find joy in the ever-changing nature of each school day, seeing every moment as an opportunity to grow both as a teacher and as a person.

My favorite Bible verse, Romans 8:31 – “If God is for us, who can be against us?” – reminds me of the strength and guidance that faith and community provide. I love teaching my students how to collaborate with compassion, especially when they feel they have little in common with others—a skill I believe is essential for success in life and any career.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy reading, writing, and watching football (soccer) with my family. I’m a passionate book lover with a personal collection of over 525 books and counting! To me, Our Redeemer truly feels like a second home. The sense of family among both staff and school families makes every day one I look forward to—with a smile and with the reassurance that I’m surrounded by people who lift each other up in prayer and support.
