I bring a unique blend of business and educational experience to Our Redeemer, shaped by a finance degree from UT Austin and postgraduate accounting studies at UT Tyler. I’ve worked as a licensed investment broker (Series 7 and 63) and founded several businesses over the years—from a commercial cleaning and restoration company to an international food manufacturing company, an interior design business, and a health and wellness clinic within a medical practice. At the same time, I’ve had the privilege of serving in classrooms across East Texas and the Metroplex, supporting students of all ages.
Being part of Our Redeemer feels like being part of one big family, and that’s what I love most about it. The close relationships I’ve built with our school and church families are incredibly special to me. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, collecting art, interior design, cooking, reading, and helping place pets in need. I was born in Damascus, Syria, and my mother risked everything to bring us home to East Texas—an experience much like the one told in Not Without My Daughter. It’s a part of my story that reminds me daily of God’s faithfulness and the importance of trust, perseverance, and love.
