Faith

Families who enroll at Our Redeemer enjoy Christ-centered religious instruction that is supported with weekly chapel services, daily religious instruction time, and weekly memory work.  Our Redeemer offers children these additional opportunities to grow in their Christian faith. Students may choose to participate in opportunities which go beyond our daily Bible/Faith instruction time and our weekly school worship opportunities that include:

Sunday Bible Class

Students join volunteers in exploring Holy Scripture at 9:30am each Sunday (PK3 through 6th grade students).

Vacation Bible School

A weeklong summer event in which children age 3 through entering 6th grade learn, play, sing, and more on a chosen theme based on Scripture.

Christmas Vacation Bible School

A one-day Christmas-themed version of Vacation Bible School, usually held on the first or second Saturday in December.

5th Grade Catechism

Students learn the basics of the Christian faith from Luther’s Small Catechism, including the Ten Commandments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, Holy Baptism, Confession, and the Sacrament of the Altar (Lord’s Supper/Communion).

6th Grade Apologetics

Students are equipped with the knowledge they need to confidently defend their faith when confronted with opposing worldviews and religions.

Caroling

Students and their parents take part in a traditional Christmas caroling experience, learning to care for others as we celebrate the birth of the world’s Savior through song (PK2 through 6th grade students).
