Families who enroll at Our Redeemer can provide their child with these additional physical activity beyond what is provided by daily recess and PE classes, can sign up for these opportunities to further their child’s skills and physical fitness.

Running Club
Our Redeemer strives to inspire young boys and girls to achieve a healthier, active lifestyle through non-competitive activity and exercise. The club meets weekly to run before school. (Kindergarten through 6th grade students).

Soccer Shots
This club teaches the basic skills of soccer in a fun way (Pre-K students).

Tippy Toes Dance Level 1 Club
This weekly club offers an exciting, fun, and energetic dance class for boys and girls with ballet and movement classes (PreK3 through 1st grade students).

Tippy Toes Dance Level 2 Club
This weekly club offers an exciting, fun, and energetic dance class for boys and girls with tap, ballet, and jazz combo classes (Kindergarten through 4th grade students).

Garden Club
This club allows our students to interact with nature as they utilize our school garden (PK 2 through 6th grade students).

Beginner Volleyball Club
These girls and boys meet weekly in September and October to introduce and strengthen volleyball skills (1st through 3rd grade students).

Volleyball Club
These girls meet three times a week in late August through October to strengthen volleyball skills and learn how to be a part of a team atmosphere (4th through 6th grade students).

Little Dribblers Basketball Club
This club meets once a week starting in December and ending in February. They meet during the school day. The club focuses on basketball basics, like dribbling as well as conditioning (Kindergarten through 3rd grade students).

Girls Basketball Team
These students meet November through February to condition, strengthen their basketball skills, and learn how to be a part of a team atmosphere (4th through 6th grade students).

Boys Basketball Team
These students meet November through February to condition, strengthen their basketball skills, and learn how to be a part of a team atmosphere (4ththrough 6th grade students).

Field Day
Our Redeemer joins other area Lutheran schools each May for a fun “field day” experience where children compete in various track and field events (1st through 5th grade students).

Beginner Soccer Club
These girls and boys meet weekly in March through May to introduce and strengthen soccer skills (Kindergarten through 3rd grade students).

Soccer Team
These students meet February through April to condition, strengthen their soccer skills, and learn how to be a part of a team atmosphere (4th through 6th grade students).

Track Team
These students meet April through May to condition and practice a variety of track events (4th through 6th grade students).

Stretch & Grow
Students join an instructor weekly to participate in action packed motor skill development (PK2 through PK4 students).

Cheer
Students meet weekly to learn cheers and a dance routine to encourage our sports teams at ORLS! Students will also learn the basics of cheerleading and what it truly means to be a cheerleader: such as discipline, leadership, and teamwork. (3rd – 6th)

Football
The boys in grades 4,5 and 6 will have the opportunity to play flag football in the Metro Athletic League (MAL). They will be able to use their skills of running, passing and catching a football to score, while playing defense to keep the other team from scoring. It should be a season full of fun. (Boys 4th – 6th)

Christian Mindfulness Stretching
Each meeting begins with a Bible Scripture. Children will build strength, flexibility, balance, and overall body awareness by exercising the physical body. Breathing exercises will be introduced for calming and improving emotional awareness and self-regulation skills. (Kindergarten through 6th grade.)
